Centenary: Technical online conference to celebrate 100 years of Dietermann + Co.

To celebrate the 100 years of our existence and to broaden the perspective to the future, we successfully conducted a half-day video conference. A large number of participants from customers, suppliers and other partners made this half-day seminar filled with interesting information a huge success.

The program included an overview (retrospect, present and future) of our company and a live introduction of important team members and a tour of our production.

Dr.-Ing. Jörg C. Sturm, Dr. Flender Holding GmbH (previously CEO MAGMA Gießereitechnologie) gave an introduction into the state of the art of simulation tools for foundries.

Dr. Ingo Ederer, CEO voxeljet AG, showed us how additive sand molding (or 3D printing) works and what advantages this new technology represents for foundries and their customers.

Max Schumacher, Director General of German foundry association BDG, broadened the focus to technological and political challenges the industry has to face.

The event was summarized by a joint discussion of all speakers.

As the majority of the audience was German speaking, the event was held in German. As we deal with all of these topics almost on a daily basis, our team will be happy to give you sufficient insight and background information on any of the issues raised and discussed.
