A large number of participants from customers, suppliers and other partners made this half-day seminar filled with interesting information a huge success.<\/p>\n<p>The program included an <strong>overview (retrospect, present and future) of our company and a live introduction<\/strong> of important team members and a tour of our production.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr.-Ing. J\u00f6rg C. Sturm<\/strong>, Dr. Flender Holding GmbH (previously CEO MAGMA Gie\u00dfereitechnologie) gave an introduction into the state of the art of <strong>simulation tools for foundries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Ingo Ederer<\/strong>, CEO voxeljet AG, showed us how <strong>additive sand molding<\/strong> (or 3D printing) works and what advantages this new technology represents for foundries and their customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Max Schumacher<\/strong>, Director General of German foundry association BDG, broadened the focus to <strong>technological and political challenges<\/strong> the industry has to face.<\/p>\n<p>The event was summarized by a joint discussion of all speakers.<\/p>\n<p>As the majority of the audience was German speaking, the event was held in German. As we deal with all of these topics almost on a daily basis, our team will be happy to give you sufficient insight and background information on any of the issues raised and discussed. <strong>Please
