Founding years bear a special dynamic. The textile industry of the Lower Rhine were still in full bloom in 1921. The silk weavers in Krefeld enjoyed world fame and Mönchengladbach was called Manchester of the Rhineland. Highly specialized machinery suppliers were required for these market positions and they in turn relied on no less qualified suppliers, such as the company founded by a foundryman named Dietermann in 1921. After destruction during World War II, the company was reconstructed on the old location in Dülken and continued being run by the family in the 2^nd generation.

Known as reliable supplier for the textile and machine tool industry, Dr. Franz Reiners and Franz Michael Reiners acquired the company in 1972. A green-field large-scale new building in the industrial zone of Mackenstein in 1976 as well as extensive investments in modern production technology in the years that followed led the company technologically into the future. The commitment to a high level of internally added value continued in 2000 through a bright and spacious new building for the casting finishing process.

Slowly, though irreversibly, the German textile industry lost its significance. The company, still a family-run, reacted early enough and found a constantly growing customer base in other industries. As of 2009, Franz Georg Reiners manages the company now in the 3^rd generation of the Reiners family. The focus since then has been the alignment of the organization to the constantly growing customers’ demands, the standardization of the production process, the modernization of the foundry, the build-up of capacity, and the qualification for machining.
